Hello SAS friends!! Thanks to all those that stopped by and played along with us last week - your shaker cards were so much fun!! We hope you will continue to play along with us, each month we are hosting a NEW Guest Designer.

This week we are making a stair step card. Below you will find the directions along with the samples from the Design Team. We warmly invite you to play along, feel free to use your favorite stamps and supplies.

Directions:
- Cut cardstock to the 10.5 X 5.0 - if you want to stamp on the background or add your designer paper, this would be the time to add it.
- Score your cardstock at 1.25" - 2.5" - 4.25", 6" and at 8.25" Now fold (accordion style) making sure that the smallest (1.25" fold) is folded down, as this will be the front of your card.
- Here is the fun part…...decorate the folds - use punches, cut-outs, stickers, ect.

When you play along with us, don’t forget to include your name in Mr. Linky so we can easily find you. If you upload your projects to Splitcoast, please include "stampsandsmiles" in the keywords.

Project Tuesday - Halloween S'mores Jar with Gift Tags

Welcome SAS friends!! Thanks to all that stopped by and played along with us last week, we loved seeing all of your box in a bag projects!! Don't forget to subscribe to our blog so you won't miss a thing each week.

This week our September host, Lisa Cook, has challenged us to create a S’mores in a Jar. Lisa’s was inspired by Cindy Nagel’s samples.

Here are the directions: Reduce 1 sleeve of graham crackers to crumbs and layer the bottom of the 1 qt. jar. Place marshmallow peeps on top of the graham cracker crumbs. Carefully spoon 1/3 c. Brown Sugar into center of the peeps, pressing down to keep it snug. Layer the rest of the open space with 1 ½ c. of M&M’s. To finish, decorate the lid and add your tag with baking directions.

Baking Directions: Empty the jar contents into a bowl. Snip the peeps into bits with kitchen sheers or cut up with a knife. Return the peep bits to the mixture and mix well. Melt ½ c. butter, add 1 t. vanilla. Pour this over the dry ingredients, mixing well. Pat into a greased 8x8 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. *Option: Leave the peeps whole; combine remaining ingredients and place the peeps on top; then bake as directed.

When you play along with us, don’t forget to include your name in Mr. Linky so we can easily find you. If you upload your projects to Splitcoast, please include "stampsandsmiles" in the keywords.
